Warner Music Nashville has named Kevin Herring senior vice president of promotion.
Herring will oversee all radio promotion on behalf of Warner Music Group’s country divisions, which include Atlantic, Elektra and Warner Bros. He previously served as vice president, promotion, and replaces Chris Stacey, who is leaving the company.
Prior to Warner, Herring, a 30-year industry veteran, worked in similar positions at EMI and Disney's Lyric Street.
“Being able to lead the Warner Music Nashville promotion team is a true honor and privilege that I do not take lightly," Herring said in a release.
In a corresponding move, Kristen Williams has been promoted to vice president of promotion, replacing Herring. Williams has been in various promotion positions with Warner for 10 years.
