ReviveHealth announces partnership with athenahealth

Massachusetts software company chooses local firm for strategic communications

Nashville-based ReviveHealth announced Monday it has been chosen as the agency of record by a $600 million clinical software company for its health care trade activity communications.

The partnership, terms of which were not disclosed in a release, was announced after a competitive national search by athenahealth, which provides cloud-based services for electronic health records, practice management and care coordination.

"In ReviveHealth, we've found a partner that understands every aspect of the health care landscape and infuses that knowledge into creative, strategic communications programs," said Holly Spring, director of communications of athenahealth. "We selected them for this unparalleled expertise in our industry, unbridled passion for what we do and track record of delivering large-scale, award-winning communications programs to our peers and clients alike."

Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth is investing in various care coordination, population health, billing management and patent engagement initiatives. The company recently reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter profits, which vaulted its market cap (Ticker: ATHN) to more than $6 billion.

"Working with a top health care brand like athenahealth is exactly what ReviveHealth was built to do," said Brandon Edwards, founder and CEO of ReviveHealth.
