Carmike building Spring Hill multiplex

Project off Saturn Parkway will be able to accommodate 2,500 people

Carmike Cinemas has begun work on a 12-screen movie theater in Spring Hill, just off Saturn Parkway.

The project will be part of the next phase of the Crossings at Spring Hill retail center at Saturn and Highway 31. To be located on the Maury County side of Spring Hill, the complex will feature 12 screens with a total capacity of more than 2,500 seats. One of the screens will offer Carmike's premium BigD format and more than 500 seats.

Spring Hill officials have made a priority of expanding their infrastructure at the successful Crossings project, which is being developed by Brentwood-based GBT Realty and is anchored by Target and Kohl's locations. Also being built near the Carmike project are Jonathan's Grille and Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants.
