BABC promotes two to partner

Litigator, appellate specialist have been with firm for eight and two years, respectively

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings has named Nashville attorneys Joel Eckert and Edmund Sauer partners, effective Jan. 1

Eckert is a member of the litigation practice group at BABC, which he joined in the fall of 2006. He has worked on commercial and construction cases as well as land-use disputes and defended clients in the health care industry in False Claims Act litigation. Eckert earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College.

Sauer is a member of the firm’s appellate practice group and has handled oral arguments and appeals in product liability, contracts and Federal Tort Claims Act cases, among others. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, a master’s from Queen’s University and a bachelor’s from Centre College. He joined BABC two years ago from a Washington, D.C., firm.

“We are proud to welcome these attorneys into our partnership,” said Firm Chairman Beau Grenier. “This accomplishment is well deserved and reflective of their commitment to providing superior legal service to our clients and their dedication to being outstanding practitioners of the law.”
