Big Machine Label Group promotes finance director

Two-year company employee assumes VP of finance title

Big Machine Label Group has promoted Brad Kash to vice president of finance.

Kash, who had served as BMLG director of finance since early 2012, will continue to lead the finance, accounting and royalty teams across company imprints Big Machine Records, The Valory Music Co. and Republic Nashville and publishing arm Big Machine Music.

Kash previously worked at EMI Music (Capitol Records and Virgin Records), Big Fish Entertainment and Hard Rock International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Leo University.

“Brad is the right man for the job at BMLG. Upon arriving he was immediately able to understand what we needed to do to keep up with the scale of our growth,” Scott Borchetta, BMLG president and CEO, said in a release. “Adding VP stripes was an obvious and easy decision.”
