Nashville Symphony names new CFO

Boyd arrives from Murfreesboro-based Reeves-Sain

The Nashville Symphony has hired Chad Boyd as its chief financial officer.

Boyd, who started in December, replaced Michael Kirby.

Boyd began his career as an accountant at Arthur Andersen. He most recently served as chief financial officer and vice president of finance for Reeves-Sain Family of Medical Services in Murfreesboro.

Boyd graduated cum laude with an accounting degree from Lipscomb University

“Chad Boyd possesses a unique combination of public accounting, for-profit management accounting and a passion for the arts which will serve him well as our new CFO,” Alan D. Valentine, Nashville Symphony president and CEO, said in a release. “Knowing and understanding the value arts organizations bring to our city and through his strategic financial approach enhancing the foundation of the Symphony, Chad will be vital in supporting this institution across the board.”
