Sherrard & Roe adds member

Veteran attorney arrives from Baker Donelson

Carolyn Schott has joined Sherrard & Roe as a member.

Schott arrives from Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, at which she was a shareholder and worked for 11 years. She has legal expertise in federal and state tax, tax litigation, estate planning, exempt organizations and corporations.

A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, Schott also holds a M.S. in taxation from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and a M.A. in philosophy from the University of Kansas.

Schott is involved in several boards, including those of the Nashville Opera, Fifty Forward, the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville and the Nashville Aquatic Club. She serves as board president of the Breakfast Club of Nashville.
