Jamba Juice entering Nashville market

First location set for Elliston 23, Cool Springs to come next year

California-based Jamba Juice will open its first Nashville store in Elliston 23.

The new store is scheduled to open in early December at the Southern Land mixed-use development in Midtown. It will be run by local franchiser Fruitful Living LLC, owned by Cynthia Townsend.

This is the popular juicery's first foray in the Nashville market, but it won't be its last: a second location is expected in Cool Springs in spring 2014.

Jamba was founded in 1990 and now runs more than 800 locations, including 42 outside the United States. The company (Ticker: JMBA) recently reported first-half profits of $5.1 million on sales of $122 million.
