ARx Healthcare promotes longstanding employee to VP of implementation

Industry veteran to continue role as client services vice president

ARx Healthcare has promoted Dawn Patton to vice president of implementation.

Patton, who will continue to serve as vice president of client services, will lead and direct all implementation projects with ARx’s customer base, according to Geoff White, ARx CEO and founder. She will also develop system processes needed for the sharing of data between providers and ARx.

Patton (pictured), who has more than 34 years of health care experience, began her health care career at Kankakee, Ill.-based St. Mary’s Hospital, where she held positions in registration, accounting and data processing prior to accepting a line position in the business office.

After leaving St. Mary’s and before joining ARx, Patton held management positions at East Pointe Hospital in Lehigh Acres, Fla., and at IPN Network.

Since joining ARx in June 1997, she has earned numerous client commendations during various consulting engagements and has achieved significant operational improvements and reduction in A/R days as interim director for several facilities.

“The implementation process is very vital to the outcome,” Greg Wilder, ARx executive vice president of business development, said in a release. “The partnership between vendor and customer goes way beyond the sale, and I’m very glad Dawn has accepted this role.”

Franklin-based ARx provides the health care industry with business office operations and revenue cycle management services.
