Mid-sized suburban residential project planned for Bellevue area

Travis Trace to feature 143 homes

Franklin-based home builder The Jones Company of Tennessee announced today it will soon begin sales and the construction of Travis Trace, to be located just off Interstate 40 at the McCrory Lane exit in Bellevue.

Ken Stricker, Jones CEO, said the first phase of the development will offer 36 lots. Upon completion, Travis Trace will feature 143 homes, he added.

Pricing for the homes will be announced soon.

The Travis Trace Davidson County location is distinctive in that the area construction boom of the past two years has been primarily focused on suburban development in neighboring counties as well as apartments in Nashville’s urban core.

“Travis Trace is conveniently located in a vibrant and growing community in Bellevue, and these beautiful new homes will be a fantastic addition,” Stricker said in release. “The homes will be close to parks, sports and recreational facilities, as well as quality schools.”

The marketing behind Travis Trace has the homes featuring a “clean, fresh, modern feel,” highlighted by bright, crisp colors, the release reads.

“We really have geared our marketing efforts toward today’s busy modern families and active individuals who see the beauty of Bellevue for what it is — a lush, green haven that is ripe with a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities, but still minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city,” Bridget Thompson, Jones marketing director, said. “The neighborhood is surrounded by more than seven public parks, so there’s definitely something for everyone.”
