Brentwood-based Corporate Real Estate Advisors is returning to independent status, effective Aug. 19, following a four-year affiliation with Cresa.
The move is being made after a “cost vs. benefit analysis,” according to Tim Stowell, CREA president.
Stowell (pictured) formed CREA in 1997. In 2009, his company aligned with Boston-based Cresa as its Nashville affiliate.
“The cost seemed to outweigh the benefit,” Stowell said of maintaining the Cresa affiliation. “So we’re reverting back to independent status.”
As part of the change, CREA will move its offices from Old Hickory Boulevard to West Gate Circle.
“Our mission is the same, but we’ll simply be dealing with local and regional tenants vs. national corporations,” Stowell said. “We will continue to provide no-conflict, exclusive tenant representation services.”
CREA clients include, among others, PhyMed Management, The Boardroom, EnableComp and SouthComm (the parent of Nashville Post).
