First Advantage Bank adds senior VP

Hiring follows recent launch of small-business group, move to OTCQB market

First Advantage Bank announced today it has added John Morse as senior vice president and business banking relationship manager.

The Morse hire comes less than three months after Clarksville-based First Advantage Bancorp launched a small-business group (read here) led by Michael Croom and its shareholders delisted company shares from Nasdaq and moved to the OTCQB platform (read here).

Morse, who brings nearly 30 years of banking experience to the position, was previously senior commercial lending officer at FirstBank, where he managed a $25 million commercial loan portfolio and was responsible for the bank’s statewide brokered lease portfolio.

Morse earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and an M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University. He is also a graduate of the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending, the National Commercial Lending School and the Graduate School of Banking of the South.

Morse’s civic and professional involvements include the Rotary Club of Brentwood, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Donelson/Hermitage Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Tennessee State University Foundation and MBA Association.

“John’s extensive business banking background further strengthens our team of experts and supports our position as a trusted financial partner and advisor for Nashville area businesses,” Allan McCombs, First Advantage Bank senior vice president and treasury division manager, said in a release. “The Nashville market has responded well to our unique business model and style of business banking and we remain focused on building the right team to deliver an unsurpassed customer experience.”
