Logan’s taps Jack in the Box exec to be HR chief

Restaurant sector veteran also has worked at Wendy’s, Taco Bell

Logan’s Roadhouse recently recruited an experienced human resources executive to lead its personnel department.

Michael Martin comes to Nashville-based Logan’s from Jack in the Box, where he focused on leadership development and operational execution. Before that, he also worked at Wendy’s International, Taco Bell and Stouffer Hotels & Resorts.

“Michael brings a wealth of industry experience, creative energy and a common sense approach to this important role in our company,” said Mike Andres, who early this year took over as president and CEO of Logan’s Roadhouse.

Martin takes over some of the responsibilities held by former Chief Development Officer Rob Effner, who left the company this spring. A former U.S. Army helicopter pilot, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a master’s in organizational development and strategic management from Chapman University in California.
