Construction will begin this month on Bradley Arant Boult Cummings' office expansion at Roundabout Plaza.
The expansion will add 10,834 square feet on the sixth floor of the building, where the firm currently occupies the seventh, eighth and ninth floors. Bob Patterson, Nashville office managing partner, said the new space will include 24 more attorney offices to accommodate the growth of the Nashville office.
The design and construction team on the project is Hastings Architecture Associates and Brasfield & Gorrie.
“When we designed our Roundabout Plaza offices a decade ago, we worked with a top design team to create the ideal floorplate configuration, office size and interior design that would reflect our firm’s culture,” said Patterson. “Phil Olson of Alliance Architecture in D.C. designed the interior architecture and David Bailey of Hastings Architecture in Nashville designed the building to encompass our plans. The intentionality of our space works so well that we asked Hastings to recreate the same space layout and interior design on the sixth floor — from the office dimensions down to the carpet pattern.”
The project should be complete in November.
CNL teams up on Crescent's Franklin apartments
Florida's CNL Growth Properties REIT has entered a joint venture with Crescent Communities to develop Crescent Cool Springs, a 252-unit apartment complex. The $40.3 million project is the third time Charlotte-based Crescent has teamed up with CNL.
"We have enjoyed working with Crescent on our previous projects in North Carolina and Florida and look forward to expanding our relationship with them through this new partnership," said Andy Hyltin, president and CEO of CNL Growth Properties.
Crescent Cool Springs will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, and an average unit size of 974 square feet. The community will feature a two-story clubhouse, business center, fitness center and swimming pool. Crescent announced the project in March.
