Bernard Health inks Midtown lease

Insurance advisor moving from West End

Growing health insurance venture Bernard Health has signed up for about a third of a floor at the prominent Signature Center at Church Street and 19th Avenue North owned by XMi Commercial Real Estate.

Bernard has signed on for about 3,000 square feet on the fourth floor of the Signature Center, which was built in 1989 and contains about 50,000 square feet of space. The open space in the building is being marketed for $19.50 per square foot.

Bernard was launched in 2006 and has since grown steadily in the Nashville area and into Indianapolis and Cleveland, Ohio. It offers insurance advisory services to thousands of consumers and about 150 businesses and is now based out of the Park Place mixed-use center at 2817 West End Ave.

Henry Menge of XMi Commercial Real Estate represented Signature Center L.P. in the lease negotiations. Brandon Hoop and Shane Douglas with Colliers International represented Bernard Health. Company and XMi officials are not disclosing the length of the company’s lease.
