The T.J. Martell Foundation has hired Tinti Moffat as director of strategic development. Moffat, who most recently managed event production and business development for Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, will raise funds and bring awareness to the Foundation's mission of funding leukemia, cancer and AIDS research.
Moffat, who also is overseeing the Southern Region office for the nonprofit organization, joins the Foundation with more than 25 years of music business experience. Before her time at Margaritaville, she was an agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment responsible for booking show dates and tours as well as working with the publishing community to develop and sign new talent.
The T.J. Martell Foundation's Southern Region office organizes events in the Nashville, Atlanta, Houston and Dallas areas including Best Cellars Dinners, Family Day, and the Wirtgen America Golf Classic. The Foundation regionally supports cancer research at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, the Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
