Permit Patrol: 3 June 2013

Flip makes nod to the ladies, Tenant to tackle Roundabout Plaza work, and more ...

That's extensive

Turner Universal has the $6.98 million permit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to partially remove and replace an existing second-floor mechincal room floor slab that is "delaminating" — that is, breaking apart. And while they are at it, they'll replace two handlers and convert 1,300 square feet of exterior plaza into lobby space.

Flip kick

Edgehill men's consignment clothing store Flip is adding space to include women's fashion options. Hawkins has the $200,000 permit.

West End AT&T readies

The new AT&T Mobility store at 1904 West End — the former Mrs. Winner's — got its finish-out permit, a $144,054 job on 3,500 square feet by U.S. Communications Construction.

William Morris upgrade

Tenant has the $98,000 permit to rehab Roundabout Plaza's third floor for William Morris.

New life at Red Rooster

The former Red Rooster at 1530 Demonbreun St. was issued a self-permit for $10,000 in renovation, which is explained (sort of) at the restaurant's web site.
