Revenue cycle manager to add dozens of jobs

Hendersonville company led by former ARS leader

Revenue cycle manager Xtend Healthcare Advanced Revenue Solutions will investing $550,000 to expand its Sumner County call center, a move that will create 48 jobs.

Xtend, which is led by former Advanced Receivables Strategy leader Howard Kirshner, is based on West Main Street in downtown Hendersonville. The company works with providers of all stripes across the country and was bought in 2009 by Kirshner and Tom O'Neill.

“We are very gratified that our business continues to grow in Hendersonville,” Kirshner said. “Our goal is to have the best trained and qualified workforce that provides our comprehensive array of solutions, including business office, consultation, coding and accelerated recovery services to our customers.”

Regina Bartlett, chairman of Forward Sumner Economic Partnership, the workforce for the corporate jobs comes from throughout Sumner County and the jobs "have a high multiplier effect which benefits our retail and services sectors.”
