F&M adds CIO

IT veteran spent nearly decade at Tampa bank

F&M Bank has hired Joe Snyder as senior vice president and chief information officer.

Snyder comes to Clarksville-based F&M with more than 15 years of IT experience in the financial services sector. Most recently, he was senior VP and IT director for nine years at the $1.2 billion Bank of Tampa .

“[Joe] is a skilled IT project manager providing leadership in strategic planning, IT infrastructure design, data warehousing network administration, and inventory and operations management,” said F&M President and CEO Sammy Stuard. “We are faced daily with technically challenging initiatives and are pleased to have Joe’s talent and insight to help us in this area.”

F&M has more than $800 million in assets and 15 branches in seven counties as well as mortgage offices in Davidson and Williamson counties.
