The Mall at Green Hills to add pair of national retailers

Gap concept, cosmetics chain will be new to Tennessee market

Athleta and LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics are joining the lineup of national brands at The Mall at Green Hills, with both to serve as the first Tennessee locations  for their respective brands.

Terms of the leases are not being disclosed.

Athleta is slated to open in June and will feature performance apparel and gear for active women. Owned by parent company Gap Inc., Athleta will stock apparel for running, yoga, gym/training, swimming and hiking. It will also offer a personalized styling service, complimentary hemming, free fitness classes and in-store discounts for fitness professionals.

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is set to open in the spring of 2014. LUSH’s deli concept offers a twist on traditional beauty retail. Customers choose cosmetics personally from “pic’n’mix” skin care at a cleansing bar — items such as chunks of solid shampoo, piles of bubble bar slices and fresh facemasks displayed on ice. LUSH products are made from organic fruits and vegetables, essential oils and ingredients that are “ethically and sustainably procured.”

“We continue to work to bring new names to the Nashville market that our customers appreciate,” Kimberly Savona, general manager at The Mall at Green Hills, said in a release. “I know both of these stores are highly anticipated and will be embraced immediately.”
