Rutherford Chamber adds tourism pro

New VP brings more than decade of industry experience

The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce has named Nicky Reynolds vice president of its Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Reynolds' responsibilities will include developing and executing marketing, sales and product development plans and programs to grow Rutherford County’s tourism industry. In late April, she will replace Mona Herring, who will retire from the position after 25 years of service.

Reynolds comes to the job with extensive tourism experience with the National Park Service, the Chattanooga Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and the Oak Ridge Convention & Visitors Bureau. Most recently, she served as executive director of the Tourist & Convention Commission in Lebanon, Ky.

“Nicky brings over 10 years of experience working in the Tennessee Convention & Visitors Bureau industry,” said Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce President Paul Latture. “Her understanding of the tourism sector, combined with skill sets in marketing, social media and strategic planning, set her up to help ensure the future success of the Rutherford County CVB.”
