Financial software venture Wealth Access has hired an enterprise technology veteran and former Sage Healthcare executive to be its chief technology officer.
Ken Colson comes to Wealth Access, which was formally launched last summer, from Vitera Healthcare in Tampa, where he was director of application development. He will help define Wealth Access’ technology roadmap, oversee its product portfolio deliverables and lead research into new offerings, among other things.
Wealth Access’ software aggregates account information for high-net-worth investors and their advisors. The company last fall hired former Consensus Point executive Brian Evans to be its chief marketing officer.
“Ken has the strategic vision, product development experience, technical management and knowledge to successfully guide Wealth Access as we continue to grow and scale our business,” said CEO David Benskin. “We are proud to complete our executive team with such an accomplished talent, and are confident he will be an excellent addition to our organization as we continue our path of expansion.”
Prior to his time at Vitera, Colson spent 11 years at Sage Healthcare. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from St. Leo University and attended graduate school at the University of West Florida.
