National builder plans project on Brentwood's eastern edge

NVR homes off Concord will sell for $410,000 and up

A division of national home builder NVR says it plans to build two dozen homes north of Concord Road near the eastern boundary of Brentwood.

Officials at Ryan Homes say the houses at Hidden Creek will feature up to five bedrooms, four bathrooms and garages for up to three cars. They will rise off Pinkerton Road, which branches off Bluff Road near where Concord ends at Nolensville Pike. The homes will be priced at $410,000 and up.

Ryan is very active in the Middle Tennessee area, where it is marketing more than 15 communities from Gallatin to Spring Hill. Word of its plans for Hidden Creek comes as a number of other big-names players — including Crescent Resources in Franklin and D.R. Horton in Smyrna — are making moves to take advantage of the rebounding local single-family market, which has begun to push up home prices.
