Prison health care provider Corizon has promoted one of its regional vice presidents to serve as vice president of operations.

Rolly Maldonado, who joined Corizon in 2006, will immediately begin overseeing Corizon’s contract with the Idaho Department of Corrections. He will continue to managing the Brentwood-based company's contract with the Wyoming Department of Corrections.

“Rolly has clearly and consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to build and sustain strong client relationships,” said Tom Voss, Corizon’s senior VP of operations. “He possesses solid leadership values and an ability to effectively manage both people and processes in order to meet contract requirements. He will undoubtedly have continued success in his new role.”

Maldonado was promoted to regional VP in 2010 and a year later with his team won a national award for a weight management program for inmates in Wyoming.
