HealthTrust Purchasing Group has tapped Remar Sign Solutions to handle its interior and exterior signage services, the two companies announced today.

The contract, which involves HealthTrust Purchasing Group’s “optional source award,” covers pylon, directional and ADA-compliant signage, as well as installation, permit acquisition and maintenance services. The agreement, financial terms of which were not disclosed, is effective March 1 through Sept. 30, 2016.

“Over the years, the Remar team has worked with numerous hospitals across the country to add or convert signage, and we know that clear, easy-to-read and properly placed signage meets patient needs by helping to direct them to caregivers,” Darryl Cooper, Remar director of business development, said in a release. “We appreciate the confidence that HealthTrust has placed in us to serve their members.”

Remar is a division of Lebanon-based Remar Inc., while HealthTrust Purchasing Group — a group purchasing organization that supports nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities — is based in Brentwood.
