Parallon to provide service to Texas hospital
Parallon Business Solutions announced Wednesday it has entered a five-year agreement to provide full-service revenue cycle solutions to Huntsville (Texas) Memorial Hospital, a not-for-profit acute-care hospital north of Houston.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Huntsville Memorial has about 90 beds and fiscal 2010 revenues of almost $220 million, according to American Hospital Directory. It is affiliated with the large Memorial Hermann system out of Houston.
"In the face of increasingly complicated reimbursements, more hospitals and health care facilities are looking for leading-edge ways to gain efficiencies and revenue opportunities,” Eric Ward, president of Franklin-based Parallon’s revenue cycle solutions group. “In partnering with Huntsville Memorial Hospital, our goal is to achieve an immediate and sustainable impact that enables the hospital to continue focus on activities that are important to its mission.”
