The Buffkin Group executive search firm has named veteran institutional investment executive Nathan Brandon partner.

Brandon will help guide the firm’s new business development in the investment banking and financial services sectors, and a variety of recruiting searches regionally. He has more than 15 years experience in investment management and previously served as institutional sales representative with Fifth Third Securities. During his eight years at Fifth Third, he held a variety of investment banking positions. 

“Nathan brings exceptional financial services expertise to our team, along with a strong network of executive relationships,” Craig Buffkin, managing partner of The Buffkin Group, said in a release. “We are eager to leverage his unique talents as we continue to grow The Buffkin Group and make an impact for companies across the nation.”

Prior to his move into institutional investing with Fifth Third, Brandon worked in private client wealth management, where he assisted individuals in wealth and estate planning. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history from the University of Tennessee.
