Gresham Smith promotes project manager to division VP
Gresham Smith and Partners has promoted John Reidy from project manager to vice president of the firm’s water resources division.
Reidy will help grow the division and oversee the execution of water resources projects, financial operations, staff development, and client services and satisfaction.
“John has a tremendous combination of technical abilities and business leadership experience,” Joe Whitson, GS&P executive vice president of water services, said in a release. “He’s managed the design, construction and start-up of numerous multi-million dollar projects throughout his career, and he’s also earned a reputation for his business acumen. John has a knack for building and growing teams, and we … are confident that our clients will greatly benefit from his direction, vision and enthusiasm for successful problem-solving.”
Reidy joined GS&P in September and, as project manager for the firm’s construction management team, has led GS&P’s $1 billion Clean Water Nashville project.
Previously, Reidy spent 22 years at AECOM in Massachusetts and Georgia, where he served as project manager for the $3.4 million Boston Harbor cleanup project and grew the firm’s Norcross office from 20 to 45 employees.
