First Farmers exec takes on marketing title

Williamson County leader in '11 led rollout of investments group

First Farmers & Merchants Bank has given its Williamson County leader a little extra work.

Craig Holland, who led Columbia-based First Farmers into Williamson five years ago, can now also call himself director of marketing. In that role, he will lead the 18-branch, $1 billion bank’s in-house marketing resources in day-to-day planning, budgeting and communications.

"I have the utmost confidence in Craig to continue moving us in the right strategic direction," said First Farmers Chairman and CEO Randy Stevens. "He has held a number of positions throughout our bank and has proven his deep understanding of our employees, our culture and our focus on providing customers superior products, service, advice and support across Middle Tennessee."

Holland joined First Farmers in 2007 and has overseen the opening of two branches that now are home to more than $40 million in deposits. In 2011, he also led the planning and launch of First Farmers Investment Services, which he also manages.
