Thompson Burton relocates within Cool Springs building, looks to add attorneys

Firm doubles space at Seven Corporate Centre

Thompson Burton announced today it has completed its relocation within Seven Corporate Centre in Cool Springs, a move that will allow the firm to add to its six-attorney roster.

Focusing on corporate law and having begun operations in April 2012, Thompson Burton has taken approximately 4,200 square feet at the building, more than doubling its former space located in the same structure. Terms of the lease were not disclosed in a release.

"We are adding lawyers and need more square footage to accommodate the growth," Walt Burton (pictured), firm co-founder with Kevin Thompson, said in a release, adding that the new space can accommodate 10-12 lawyers.

The move follows the hiring of Alex Scarbrough as a litigation associate, which the firm announced in September (read more here). Similarly, Thompson Burton added Cole Dowsley and J.K. Simms earlier this year.

Thompson Burton is the first corporate law firm located in Seven Corporate Centre, according to Pat Emery, president of the building’s developer, Spectrum|Emery.
