HCA Holdings officially signed its lease today for Alex S. Palmer and Co.'s West End Summit.
Under the terms of the lease, Parallon Business Solutions will take about 350,000 square feet and Sarah Cannon Research Institute another 125,000. An additional 300,000 square feet will be available for other commercial tenants.
The three figures represent 775,000 square feet of commercial space in two towers of 22 and 17 stories. Originally, plans called for roughly 900,000 square feet in two towers of "approximately 20 stories."
"With our anchor tenants officially signed, we can set our sights on preconstruction of the towers," Palmer said in a release. "West End Summit is going to change the landscape of midtown Nashville and create a new identity for our West End corridor. We couldn’t be prouder to have secured our lease agreement with Parallon and Sarah Cannon Research Institute."
West End Summit is a $265 million project. Parallon is expected to relocate 750 jobs and add another 800 by 2017. SCRI will bring its 200 Nashville-area employees to one location and has plans to double by 2017.
