Truck driver supplier's executives take regional roles

Virginia-based TransForce — a commercial truck driver supplier — has acquired competitor Superior Driver Source, one of the leading driver suppliers in the Southeast.

Superior has two regional offices, with its Lebanon headquarters serving Tennessee and five other states. Superior's senior management will assume regional management roles with TransForce, according to a press release.

"Superior is the perfect fit for us. Both companies have a keen focus on providing quality drivers with impressive safety records. This combination has allowed both companies to prosper by providing exemplary customer service and a great working environment for our drivers," said David Broome, CEO of TransForce.

Superior President Gina Colbert will lead the transition.

More importantly, our existing customers can now benefit from a broader and deeper range of services supported by the nationwide resources at TransForce," she said.
