Tech accelerator Jumpstart Foundry has hired start-up veteran David Ledgerwood as COO.

Ledgerwood (pictured) joins Jumpstart Foundry from RANDA Solutions. He previously led several Nashville-based startups and has worked as a management and technology consultant since 2007.

"Having steadily matured over the last three years, Jumpstart Foundry has positioned itself as the leading tech accelerator in the Southeast," Jumpstart Foundry Managing Director Marcus Whitney said in a release. "We’re thrilled to advance that tradition by bringing in David Ledgerwood to run day-to-day operations. David is a true entrepreneur with a passion for founders and products; he will improve the experience for founders and mentors and the results of the JSF companies significantly."

Ledgerwood will finish his tenure at RANDA and make a full transition to Jumpstart Foundry by Feb. 1.
