New public health center

A permit was issued this week for construction of the Lentz Public Health Center on Charlotte. Bell & Associates has the $14.9 million contract for the 106,800-square-foot, four-story building.

Rec center at Sevier Park

Bomar has the $2.1 million deal to build a 16,207-square-foot recreation center at Sevier Park (see below).

New M Street space

Hannah has the $1.056 million contract to rehab space on McGavock Street for the next phase of M Street, restaurateur Chris Hyndman's series of properties that includes Virago and Whiskey Kitchen.

Comptrolling in Brentwood

The Comptroller of the Currency is taking nearly 7,200 square feet at the Seven Springs office park in Brentwood. Solomon has the $440,000 permit.

AT&T on West End

The new AT&T store at West End and 19th avenues was permitted: a $411,000 job from DF Chase on a 5,300-square-foot building.
