Williamson Habitat names new executive director
Becket Moore has been named the new executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County.
Moore brings more than 20 years of nonprofit and business experience, having most recently served as vice president of finance and operations at Cheekwood Museum & Botanical Gardens. Prior to that position, he was director of operations and business affairs at University School of Nashville, where he managed the financials, facilities and operations for the private school.
"Becket has a proven track record of managing successful non-profits as well as great experience in the business world," said Richard Chapman, board president of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County. "We are confident this combination of skills and expertise will serve us and the families we help well."
"I was raised in Williamson County and am proud to have my own children grow up in the county as well," Moore said. "I am excited and honored to be a part of Habitat of Humanity of Williamson County and look forward to working with our communities to help provide families with housing opportunities."
