Corizon names operations SVP
Prison health care provider Corizon has promoted a longtime executive to senior vice president of operations for its community corrections work.
Carla Cesario’s bump is effective immediately. She is now leading the operations of the West, Midwest and Southeast jail divisions of Brentwood-based Corizon. Cesario joined Corizon in 1994 to work on the company’s contract with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. She has since held a number of other positions, including regional VP, executive director of customer relations and, most recently, VP of operations for the Southeast.
“Carla has consistently fulfilled and exceeded client expectations in every one of her roles,” said Stuart Campbell, Corizon’s president and COO. “In addition to that, she is a respected leader with a special talent for helping her team members realize their full potential.”
Cesario earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in social work from Boston College. She will report directly to Campbell in her new role.
