Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain has named John Litchfield as its chief operating officer.

Litchfield, a certified public accountant and previously leader of the firm’s audit practice, will oversee LBMC’s internal accounting, technology, human resources, training and administrative functions.

“John will be excellent at managing the day-to-day operations of these key areas in our firm,” LBMC Managing Partner David Morgan said in a release. “Having been a partner since 1996, he fully understands the organization and how these core service areas work as the foundation of our operations.”

Litchfield is a cum laude graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an area of concentration in Accounting. He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
