A large multifamily project is in the works for Brentwood's Seven Springs development.
Solomon Builders and Evergreen Real Estate on Thursday announced plans to build a 280-unit luxury apartment complex that is scheduled to open in the fall of 2013. The $40 million development will neighbor the $65 million headquarters of Lifepoint Hospitals currently under construction — also by Solomon.
The unnamed apartments will consist of two four-story buildings with one- and two-bedroom units, featuring "upscale design components," plus a pool, fitness area and business center. Poole and Pool Architecture is handling the design work, with Barge Cauthen & Associates overseeing civil engineering effort and First Tennessee providing financing.
"They are settled in the heart of the Seven Springs community that our firm developed several years ago, which is already home to Class A office, medical office and luxury condominiums," Solomon Builders Principal Gregg Turner, pictured here, said in a release. "Seven Springs has the added advantage of being less than a minute from Maryland Farms office park and an attractive collection of restaurants and retail stores on Franklin Road. It is the ideal living arrangement for a young professional."
In addition to the Lifepoint HQ and this new apartment project, Solomon is also building 50,000 square feet of retail at Seven Springs. Solomon and Evergreen principals Aaron White and Hunter Connelly previously worked together on Germantown's Werthan Lofts when White and Connelly were with CORE Development. The business pair recently announced the formation of Evergreen.
