Pinnacle recruits veteran BofA mortgage lender
Pinnacle Financial Partners has lured a three-decade veteran of Bank of America Home Loans, signaling its intent to grab a slice of the rebound in Middle Tennessee's housing market.
Jeff Anderson has joined Pinnacle as a senior vice president and mortgage advisor and is working for now from the company's home office at The Pinnacle at Symphony Place tower. But he will soon move to Pinnacle's Brentwood office.
Anderson spent 29 years at BofA, where he was most recently a vice president and senior mortgage loan officer for the national bank's offices on Music Row, in Hillsboro Village and in Belle Meade. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
The hiring of Anderson is the latest in a series of senior hires — the others were almost all in commercial lending — for Pinnacle, which in the summer of 2011 signaled its intent to resume its growth push by poaching talent from larger regional and national players. Anderson also will in some ways fill the gap left by top producer Billy Winfree, who departed Pinnacle early this year to lead the Nashville expansion of Clarksville's F&M Bank.
