DVL adds at Terrazzo

Advertising and public relations agency DVL is adding 3,160 square feet to its existing offices in The Terrazzo. The rehab by Solomon Builders will cost $132,000.

HCA underway in Antioch

DPR Construction will build the 94,000-square-foot building hospital giant HCA announced early this year. The bulk of the project at 5900 Crossings Blvd. in Antioch — 67,000 square feet — will be used as a warehouse. The remainder is designated for office space. The project totals just over $12 million.

New retail in Donelson

Two additions are being made at Crossings Shopping Center on Lebanon Road, which Boyle Investment is redeveloping. Joe N. Guy Co. Inc. pulled a $609,000 permit to add 9,200 square feet and a $479,000 permit for 7,220 square feet. The future tenants are not specified.

Chambers made

The third floor at the federal courthouse is getting a new permanent judge's chambers. Orion is handling the $964,000 job.

Prepping for a charter school

Jack Cunningham will prep 20,000 square feet on Plus Park Boulevard for Boys Prep Charter School. The project comes in at $245,000.

The SBA gets bigger

Suite 500 at 2 International Plaza is being rehabbed for use by the Small Business Administration. Tandem has the $342,000 contract.

Red Door add on gets going

The expansion at popular Midtown watering hole The Red Door is underway. The add-on includes a 960-square-foot addition and an 840-square-foot porch. Unique Builders is doing the work on the $105,000 project.
