Bass Berry & Sims has brought on board a former Bradley Arant Boult Cummings attorney specializing in health care regulatory work.

The SoBro-based firm said Travis Lloyd has particular experience in fraud and abuse analysis, health information privacy and security compliance, facility licensure and accreditation, and provider enrollment and reimbursement. Lloyd had been with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings since the spring of last year, when he made the jump from Franklin firm Buerger Moseley & Carson.

He earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law and also holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University. During law school, he served as an extern to Justice P. Harris Hines with the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Bass is home to about 200 attorneys, with almost half of them touching on health care work in the firm’s Pinnacle at Symphony Place office.
