H3GM adds one, promotes another
Nashville law firm Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner has announced the addition of one associate and one new shareholder in the firm.
Ryan Richards will serve as an associate member of the firm’s Corporate and Tax practice groups. His previous experience includes serving as a law clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and as an intern for Judge Thomas Wiseman Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Richards (on the right in the photo) earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law and a master’s in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a graduate comment advisor for The Tax Lawyer. He received his B.A. and B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University.
The firm also announced that David McDowell has been named a shareholder of the firm. He is a part of H3GM’s Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Commercial Bankruptcy and Reorganization practice groups.
Prior to joining H3GM, McDowell practiced in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Justice Department as an honors attorney in the Transportation, Energy and Agriculture section.
