Xerox adding more local jobs
For the second time this year, Xerox is adding dozens of jobs to its customer care call center in Nashville.
The global company is hiring 100 people over the next month to help its provide technical support for a telecommunications company. Xerox runs a 50,000-square-foot call center located on Royal Parkway near Nashville International Airport. The new positions — which are on top of 60 hired this spring — will take its local payroll to about 1,000.
“Thousands of companies rely on Xerox’s business process and information technology services every day,” said Craig Slone, general manager of Xerox’s Nashville operations. “Nashville has proven to be a great resource of talented employees and it makes strong economic sense to expand our operations here.”
Xerox employs more than 48,000 people in 150 call centers around the world who handle more than 1.6 million customer interactions every day.
