Williamson Medical board doesn't go far for new boss
Longtime CFO had been filling in following Miller's sudden exit
The trustees of Williamson Medical Center have voted to name to Don Webb the CEO of the 185-bed hospital. The unanimous vote last week came a month after Webb was named interim boss of the hospital following the sudden departure of longtime CEO Dennis Miller.
Webb has been at Williamson Medical since 1985 and was its CFO for the past 16 years. In all, he has almost four decades of health facility management experience.
“Don’s vast experience and familiarity with Williamson Medical Center make him a strong and natural selection to lead WMC through the next several years, an incredibly important time regarding the future of health care in this country,” said Russell Little, chairman of the Williamson Medical board of trustees.
