Wellness provider Onlife Health has promoted Jed Dodd to company CEO from COO.

Prior to joining Onlife — the former Gordian Health Solutions — in 2009, Dodd spent 12 years with Sprint Nextel, most recently as vice president of organization transformation. At the telecoms giant, he worked in sales and marketing, training and development and other areas.

“Jed is well positioned in his new role as CEO having worked as a key member of the company’s leadership team over the past three years,” said J.D. Hickey, executive vice president and COO at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Onlife’s parent company.

Chris Hunter had been the company’s CEO, a role he assumed in 2009.
