Broken Bow Music Group adds senior vice president

Industry veteran formerly served at CMT as senior director of music programming

Nashville-based Broken Bow Music Group has added industry veteran Stephen Linn as senior vice president of BBR Management.

BBR is the manager of Jason Aldean, among others.

Linn (pictured) will represent country rock foursome Parmalee, whose debut single “Musta Had A Good Time” was recently voted by fans as the No. 1 song on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Live for two weeks straight. 

“Stephen is one of the brightest minds in the business with the work ethic to match,” Jon Loba, senior vice president of of Broken Bow Music Group, said in a release. “He is the perfect complement to Shawn Pennington, who has done such an amazing job with Thompson Square, to help continue the growth and development of BBR Management.”

Linn most recently served as senior director of music programming and promotion for CMT. He was instrumental in developing the channel’s first multi-platform world premiere event, “Big New Music Weekend.” Linn also developed the network’s growing social media program, which currently reaches more than 2 million people.

Prior to working at CMT, Linn was an award-winning television reporter and author. His marketing and media work has been recognized with multiple awards including W3, TELLY and ADDY wins. In addition, he is a frequent speaker at music and digital media conferences, including appearances at the Texas Music Summit, Social Fresh, Country Radio Seminar and the Country Music Association Marketing Summit.
