National firm recruits King & Ballow duo

FordHarrison set up local office last fall

FordHarrison, the labor law specialists that last year moved into Middle Tennessee, has recruited from King & Ballow two attorneys, including a partner.

Making the jump to FordHarrison — which also has regional offices in Memphis, Birmingham and Atlanta — are Mark Stamelos and Josh Sudbury. Stamelos (pictured) had been with King & Ballow for almost 12 years. He has represented employers in a broad range of cases and counsels on policies and procedures. A graduate of Capital University Law School, he clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Elizabeth Hallanan in the Southern District of West Virginia.

Sudbury comes to FordHarrison as an associate. He had spent almost two years at King & Ballow. After graduating from the University of Memphis Law School, he served a one-year clerkship for Magistrate Judge Diane Vescovo of the Western District of Tennessee.

The addition of Stamelos and Sudbury grows FordHarrison's roster of attorneys active in Nashville to seven. The office at 3200 West End Ave. is managed by Louis Britt III.
