IR firm sets up Boston office

Sales veteran comes on as senior VP

Investor relations firm Corporate Communications Inc. has opened an office in Boston and recruited a veteran of institutional sales to lead its growth efforts there.

Bill Forsyth comes to CCI as senior vice president of business development and is the firm’s 11th employee. A native Bostonian, Forsyth has more than 14 years experience in institutional sales, most recently with Auriga USA. He also has worked at Needham, Sidoti, Oppenheimer, Ryan Beck and CL King.

“We are very pleased that Bill has joined the team at Corporate Communications. His understanding of the capital markets, direct involvement with the sell-side and buy-side financial communities and extensive work with small- and mid-cap growth companies are exactly the capabilities we seek,” said Eddie Jones, CCI’s chairman and principal. “We are confident his expertise and perspective will have a positive impact on our clients and our firm.”

CCI’s new physical presence in Boston complements its offices in Nashville and Orlando. CCI was founded in 1975 and works with companies in a number of industries. Among its most prominent local customers is IT tech firm M*Modal.
