Engineering firm opens Clarksville office

Civil Site active in residential, commercial work up north

Engineering firm Civil Site Design Group has opened a Clarksville office, the first branch location for the 12-year-old company.

The office on Hillcrest Drive is being managed by Associate Principal Chris Goodman (pictured) and will be the hub for the firm’s projects in Montgomery County and southern Kentucky. Among the projects for Civil Site Design in that area are a Comfort Suites hotel, apartment complexes Parks at Oak Grove and Preserve at Spring Creek as well as The Reserve at Oakland subdivision.

“We are excited about the opening of our Clarksville office, which will enable us to better serve our clients in Montgomery County,” said Managing Principal Rob Porter.  “Chris is active in the Clarksville community and was a natural choice to lead our Clarksville office.”

Goodman’s experience includes surveying, commercial site design, roadway design and municipal design. He was previously director of business development at DBS & Associates, where he started as a project engineer. He is president of the Clarksville business development group Two Rivers Company and is the incoming chairman of the Business Development Committee for the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce.

In Nashville, Civil Site Design is active on the ONEC1TY development in Midtown as well as various projects in the Rolling Mill Hill area.
