Williamson Medical boss saying goodbye
Williamson Medical Center CEO Dennis Miller is leaving his post after 10 years on the job.
Williamson Medical has boomed under Miller’s tutelage, revamping and adding to its physical plant while more than doubling its medical staff and growing admissions by 46 percent, hospital officials said. Miller is probably best remembered for having led the 185-bed hospital through a large expansion.
“Dennis has not only been a great visionary and leader at Williamson Medical Center, he’s been a great friend to me and my family. I wish him the best,” said Ike Brown, chairman emeritus of the hospital’s board of trustees.
During the search for Miller’s replacement, which becomes effective this weekend, CFO Don Webb (at right in our photo) will serve as acting CEO. Webb has been with the hospital for 27 years.
